We didn’t plan to start a dance competition. We just wanted to create a day that felt like joy.

City’s Dancesport Challenge was born out of friendship, love for ballroom, and the belief that the best things in life happen on the dance floor.

We’re not your typical competition team. And this isn’t your typical ballroom event.

Hosted inside the iconic TWA HOTEL during the most magical time of year in NYC, City’s Dancesport Challenge is a one-day celebration of music, sparkle, style, and community — with just the right amount of drama (the good kind).

We believe in dancing hard, laughing louder, and creating moments that feel like the holiday scene from a classic movie… but with rhinestones and sambas.

Whether you're a competitor, a coach, a parent, or just someone curious about what ballroom is really about — you’re invited.

Come join us for a day that’s bold, festive, and full of heart.
